We have been here a few times. Most recently was a Friday night at around 8:30 for appetizers and a margarita. The place seems a little run down. For instance, there were tears in my seat. We ordered nachos supreme and they were good. The chicken and the ground beef were both quite good.
We ordered guacamole on the side too, but that seemed to have been made with under ripe avocados and was under seasoned in any case.
My wife was very happy with her margarita though. -

We were frequent patrons at the Polaris Parkway location. When I say frequent I mean the waiters knew our order by memory. We were disappointed to discover a few months ago by a sign on the door stating that this location was now closed and to visit the original El Acapulco restaurant in the campus view area. Tonight gave us the prefect opportunity to get to that location and our family of four was very excited to be able to enjoy our favorite Mexican dishes which we were craving for months.
Unfortunately, we ALL left very disappointed, discouraged and a bit angry with our much anticipated dinner. Our below average experience started with the hostess throwing the heavy menu's on the table when she sat us which seemed very unprofessional. The food was horrible, nothing like the Polaris location. This location served runny beef tacos, dry cheese enchiladas and subpar chicken quesadillas. They also charged $1.50 for an extra basket of Tortilla chips...seriously??!!??
This family of four will most definitely not return to the Campus-view El Acapulco. And will not refer any friends who used to frequent the Polaris restaurant to this location. -

If I could give it no stars I would. The owner was rude at the door and actually tried to convince us to leave because he was "too busy".. He actually said "you guys can go somewhere else". We should have taken the advice. We sat down for 10 minutes then he decided not to accommodate a really simple request because it would "to hard on his chef". Chef? He repeated that we could leave. We took him up on his second offer.

Worthington residents and visitors, I recommend you boycott this place and get a restaurant that actually wants to treat you like a customer. -

Not the greatest, but not the worst either. Husband and I staying at a nearby hotel and arrived a little early to check in so we decided to come here for lunch since it was close and there were cars in the parking lot, despite the reviews.
I had the chimichanga lunch and hubby had burrito & enchilada lunch. They were ok, but came out way too hot. Like plates had been made up and then popped in the oven when ordered. Ingredients did seem fresh though.
Oh, and noticed on the menu that there was an additional charge for chip & salsa refills. -

Should have left when we saw how much dust and grime was on the lamps and tables, server took are order and dropped it off no sense of table service at all. No table touches or asking of how our food was. It was terrible tasted like everything was cooked the day before and then re-heated. Do yourself a favor and don't wast your money here.
